Understanding lace stitches

The increases and decreases in lace patterns explained including yf (yarn forward), yon (yarn over needle), yrn (yarn round needle), yfrn (yarn forward and round needle, K2tog (knit two stitches together), K3tog (knit three stitches together), K2togtbl (knit two stitches together though the back of the loop), P2togtbl (purl two stitches together through the back of the loop), skpo (slip one stitch, knit one stitch, pass slipped stitch over), and s2kpo (slip two stitches, knit one stitch, pass the two slipped stitches over).
